Bar steel is considered to be all shapes of bars such as in round, flat, square, hexagonal and many more.

Depending on the cross-section, the bar steel is produced hot-rolled or forged. The large diameters are then usually stored already pre-turned or peeled. Also, smaller dimensions are often offered in bright finish with tight tolerances.

The applications for stainless steel include rolling bearings, pump shafts, ball bearings, surgical instruments, plastic molds, chemical industry, aviation, food industry.
